Group Meeting #2

 THEME-

- Today we had our second group meeting for our portfolio project! It was very exciting as we got partnered with different people: Lydia, Giovanna, Benjamin, Amelia, Cristina, and Eli. The meeting consisted of talking about our finished stories and production process. As well as some ideas for our CCR's.

LYDA-

- Scientist who can see 5 days in the future and sees her death with these futuristic looking glasses. The rest of the project is her trying to find out why she dies or what happens to make here die. Lydia's genre is sci-fi. They just filmed everything last week, yet they are missing a few scenes but Lydia and her teammate are filming after school today to finish those scenes.  She doesn't know what to do for her CCR but one of the girls suggested doing like an experiment type of CCR where she asks things about experiments.

GIOVANNA-  

- The next one to go was Giovanna, and she was the only one who was in my past group so it was nice seeing her progress throughout her storyline. Her story consists of a scientist who works at the FBI, he is working into the murder of the woman who runs the FBI, who was his missing daughter,  who was switched with another baby in the opening. His case runs on the fact that the director of the science department was killed and he is working on who exactly killed her. Giovanna hasn't started filming yet but she is starting her production process this weekend. Her genre consist of thriller combined with mystery. For her CCR she wants to incorporate some sort of interview to be like a interview in a prison as f she is interviewing the prisoner itself asking the questions.

BENJAMIN-

- Story's genre is a thriller mystery as well, where the story is about a teenage boy who is in a car. The opening will start as if its the ending of the story. The boy is very stressed and hears the police sirens in the background as he looks down with blood on his hands. It cuts to a scene in his room that says a few hours late as he texts his mom asking where he is. As he calls his mom, a man answered asking where the keys are. Which they are under his doormat , and as the man looks underneath, he turns to the camera and looks shocked. Yet Benjamin and his team have not yet filmed but he plans on filming this week. He also doesn't know what to do for his CCR but we said he could do a small interview as well.

AMELIA-

- Next up was Amelia, with her story being a coming of age film which originally was filmed about a week ago, yet she didn't like how they ended up so she changed multiple scenes as she ended up changing her plot and her whole story. The story is about a girl who has lived in a small town here whole life, yet she doesn't know anything about the outside world. She really want to travel, but she feels like her parents are trapping here. They want her to go to college really close by instead of letting her choose her own college. Amelia has already filmed but plans on re-shooting some scenes. She also doesn't know what to do for the CCR, yet we gave her some options of maybe doing a normal video where its the director talking to the audience answering questions about the film.

CRISTINA-

- Dj who is starting out, 17 year old teen who is name Evan.  The film starts off with a flier for an audition to open for a big DJ artist who does house music which says 18+, yet that is an obstacle since he is younger (underage). He makes a bunch of music and doesn't care about about age, so he rips out the piece that says 18+ on the paper and starts making beats to play at the audition.Cristina and her group filmed on the beach with a rotating camera but filming didn't work as it didn't look how they wanted it too, so they re-filmed it but they are still trying to find out a filmed on her partners phone. Doesn't know what to do for her CCR but Amelia recommended doing a Podcast type of video since there iis much DJ involved in her film it would go well with her CCR.

ELI-

- Eli's genre revolves around a thriller yet to be more specified she wants to concentrate on a Psychological type of thriller. Her main character is schizophrenic and is accused of murder but he saw the psychologist who killed someone who is a sort of "wolf character" yet this character is in his mind as if he is having an episode. Her team already started filming but they are still going to meet up this week too finish up some scenes to complete their film. For Elli's CCR, she has an idea that she wants to do a interview between the character and herself but she doesn't exactly have the idea too clear.
